Benefits of  Ladli Behna Yojana 2024:

1. Financial Assistance: The Maharashtra government provides ₹1,500 every month and Madhya Pradesh government provides ₹1,250 per month to women in the state through this scheme.

2. Number of women who will get benefits through this scheme in Maharshtra: A budget of ₹46,000 crore has been allocated for the scheme. And about 1.50 crore women in the state will benefit from this financial assistance.

3. Number of women beneficiaries in Madhya Pradesh: As of the latest available data, the Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana has benefited over 10 lakh (1 million) women.

4. Financial Empowerment: This support will help women in Maharashtra & Madhya Pradesh become financially stronger.

5. Aim of the Scheme: It aims to improve the economic condition of women from economically weaker sections.

Eligibility of Ladli Behna Yojna:

• Residence: The applicant woman must be a resident of Maharashtra state for Maharashtra Yojana & should be resident of Madhya Pradesh for Madhya Pradesh Yojana.
• Age: Between 21 and 65 years for Maharashtra & 21 to 60 years for Madhya Pradesh.
• Priority Group for Financial Help: Priority will be given to destitute (extremely poor and lacking the means to provide for oneself), widowed women and women from poor and economically weaker sections.
• Income Limit: The annual income of the family of the applicant woman should not exceed ₹2.5 lakh.
• Employment Status: No member of the applicant woman’s family should be employed in a government job or be an income tax payer.
• Bank account and Aadhaar linkage: The bank account should be linked with Aadhaar and mobile number.
